Job Title: Commissioning AdvisorLocation: Corpus Christi, TX
The Opportunity:Seeking experienced individuals to serve as Advisors for our client's E&C Commissioning team. In this role, you will provide oversight of facility Commissioning and Startup efforts throughout Construction to Final Completion, with involvement in the Warranty period as required.
What You'll Be Doing:
Control Systems/Fire & Gas/PAGA:Facilitate interfaces between Operations & Maintenance and Engineering and Construction contractors to support E&C Project activities.Oversee installation of Distributed Control Systems, Fire and Gas Systems, CCTV, Paging and General Alarm Systems, and Vendor package interfaces.Coordinate technical interfaces to support Engineering with project stakeholders.Assist in managing Control of Work Process, Management of Change, and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews.Support regulatory audits as required.Coordinate activities related to Warranty items.Provide support for Construction area walkdowns and system turnover activities.Witness F&G/ESD Cause and Effect testing and Commissioning Demonstration Tests.
Instrumentation/Analyzers/Electrical:Coordinate interfaces between Operations & Maintenance and Engineering and Construction contractors.Oversee installation of Instrumentation, Analyzers, and Electrical devices and systems.Assist in managing Control of Work Process, Management of Change, and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews.Coordinate activities related to Warranty items.Provide support for Construction area walkdowns and system turnover activities.Witness Commissioning Demonstration Tests.Monitor instrumentation systems during initial startup.
Rotating Equipment:Facilitate interfaces between Operations & Maintenance and Engineering and Construction contractors.Oversee installation of Mechanical and Rotating Equipment and systems.Assist in managing Control of Work Process, Management of Change, and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews.Coordinate activities related to Warranty items.Provide support for Construction area walkdowns and system turnover activities.Witness Commissioning Demonstration Tests.Monitor Rotating Equipment and associated support systems during initial startup.
Piping/Mechanical/Process Operations/Overall Systems:Coordinate interfaces between CSU Operations, Operations & Maintenance, and Engineering and Construction contractors.Monitor piping system installations during construction.Monitor equipment preservation during construction.Provide oversight during initial Commissioning and Startup.Coordinate activities related to Warranty items.Provide support for Construction area walkdowns and system turnover activities.Witness Commissioning Demonstration Tests.
