About The Role
The Senior Consultant - Casual will work with existing clients on their environmental, health, and safety programs to expand and grow the relationship. In this important position you will perform technical consulting, lead consulting projects, mentor others and may manage staff over time. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who has prior consulting experience with a focus on Safety, specifically LOTO programs.
Responsibilities Include
Development of EHS programs at a site level Understanding of EHS regulatory requirements and conducting regulatory requirement auditsAccident investigation and response Hazard recognition, evaluation and analysis, and development and implementation of controlsCreating/maintaining/implementing hazard communication/chemical safety programsCreating and delivering health and safety trainingWorking with area representatives to identify the energy sources and isolation pointsManage Inventory needed LOTO equipment for the siteProvide training material for LOTO Identifying auditing strategyProvide clarifying language for alternative methods and equipment that fits under the alternative methodsEstablish a process for LOTO equipment procedures to be updated in the future and program to be sustained.Partnering with clients to develop or audit safety management systemsHelping to ensure our culture of quality and service are reflected in everything we do, and leading others to do the same
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or other related discipline.Excellent verbal and written communication skills including business, report and program writingAbility to research gather and organize data from multiple sourcesAbility to plan and implement projects
What We Offer
The salary for this position can range from $99,000 to $140,000 annually; actual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s competencies, level of experience, education, location, divisional budget, and internal peer compensation comparisons.
