Manager or Sr. Analyst, SEC & Technical Reporting

This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's external financial reporting, including SEC filings and compliance with accounting standards. This position will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial statements, conducting technical accounting research, and supporting the implementation of new accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, technical accounting expertise, and a solid understanding of SEC regulations.

Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation and filing of the company's periodic reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and disclosure requirements.Support the preparation of financial statements, footnotes, and other disclosures for SEC filings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.Conduct research on technical accounting issues, including the evaluation of new accounting standards and their impact on the company's financial reporting.Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards, including the assessment of their impact on financial statements and disclosures.Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather and analyze financial data for SEC filings, ensuring consistency and accuracy of financial information.Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the audit of financial statements and disclosures, including addressing audit inquiries and resolving audit issues.Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of internal controls over financial reporting related to SEC and technical accounting matters, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends, assessing their impact on the company's financial reporting processes.Provide technical accounting guidance and support to finance and business teams, including evaluating the accounting treatment of complex transactions.Assist in the training and development of junior analysts within the SEC or technical reporting team, fostering their professional growth and development.

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting and /or finance.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.3-7 years of experience in SEC reporting, technical accounting, and/or public accounting.Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and accounting principles.with SEC reporting software/tools (e.g., Workiva, Certent) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and interpret complex accounting issues.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
