Latin America Sales Representative
BuildingReports seeks a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative/AccountManager to expand and support our member network of Service Companies in the Latin America market. The ideal candidate must possess a thorough understanding of technology and be proficient in BuildingReports services. A successful track record in B2B software sales is essential, with a preference for experience in Channel Sales. This role necessitates an individual with a strong sense of ethics, confidence, logical thinking, and knowledge to assist, educate, and recommend the appropriate BuildingReports services to prospective customers at all levels, from field and administrative staff to Executive Management.
Responsibilities:Assist - Support the sales staff of network members during calls with existing and prospective customers.Close - Follow up on inquiries generated through marketing leads, online registrations, etc.Consult - Offer guidance to prospective and existing customers on technology and best practice procedures.Demonstrate - Showcase BuildingReports technology and services in both in-person and online settings to prospective customers.Educate - Train members' service and administration staff on existing features.Exhibit - Participate in regional and national trade shows and conferences.Feedback - Provide direct technology feedback to the development team.Improvements - Introduce and demonstrate new and upgraded services.Knowledge - Possess a comprehensive understanding of all service companies in the region, both within and outside the network.Liaison - Serve as the primary point of contact for service members within the region.Maintain - Manage mailing lists and internal contact databases.Marketing - Offer tools and assistance for marketing efforts.Organizations - Join, speak at, and demonstrate to local and regional chapters.Partnerships - Assist prospective customers in connecting with network partners for local, regional, national, and international accounts.Report - Forecast future sales expectations.Sales - Provide sales and reselling tools and training.Search - Utilize the internet, social media, etc., to identify suitable sales opportunities.Utilize - Re-connect with previous inquirers using the existing database.Travel - Be present "in region" approximately 4-6 times per year.
Qualifications:Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential, with proficiency in additional languages considered advantageous.A bachelorโs degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.Candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of previous experience in software sales, preferably in a B2B setting with a preference for experience in channel sales.Familiarity with Mobile and Web-based (Cloud Networking) technologies is highly desirable.Experience with BuildingReports or within the Fire, Life Safety, or Security industry is a plus.An enthusiasm for and proficiency with technology is a must-have trait!
Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Compensation: $70k Annual Base plus commission.
Travel: Expect to undertake approximately 4 to 6 in-territory trips annually for training sessions, prospective customer meetings, national or regional trade shows, and other related events. Additionally, participation in major USA expos as the Latin American Representative is required.
