📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
BVLGARI, the Contemporary Italian Designer of luxury jewels and watches, seeks an Assistant Store Manager for its Short Hills boutique. This position will report to the Store Director with a matrix reporting to the East Coast Regional Director.
The Assistant Store Manager acts as a partner to lead the profitability and growth of the boutique in the local market while effectively building the brand image. The Assistant Store Manager is also responsible for maintaining and achieving high operational and merchandizing standards and goals and developing a highly motivated sales team.
The Assistant Store Manager is viewed as the brand's Ambassador during the Store Director's absence.
Essential Duties
The BVLGARI Assistant Store Manager will be accountable for the following key deliverables: Achieve or Exceed Sales Plan
The Assistant Manager plays an integral role in developing and executing strategic initiatives to deliver sales budget and growth.HNWI sales and metrics.And monitor sales team KPIs daily, weekly, and monthly to implement strategic action plans to achieve cross-category KPIssales techniques and demonstrate an active role on the selling floor through sales leadership, coaching, client development, and eventing.An eye on the competitive landscape, I remain knowledgeable about industry trends to determine strategic opportunities to maximize sales within the market.VM based on brand vision and KCPsTrains and motivates the team to use CRM tools to develop sustained repeat business and analyze metrics to adjust as necessary.
People LeadershipLed, coached, motivated, and held accountable the sales team for KPI achievement, client outreach, and developmentContinuously monitor the execution of Bulgari credo and coach the sales team on delivering a unique and memorable client experience (client focus, storytelling, extraordinary service, selling skills, and attitude), observing the sales floor and providing continuous feedback.In partnership with HR, active career planning and preparedness of the sales team for future succession
Key Competencies
Minimum 8 years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably with a high-end luxury retailer. High Jewelry and Watches retail sales experience is a plus.Agile, tenacious, and inspiring people leader with a keen understanding of navigating all facets of a luxury retail operation while paying attention to direct competition within the marketability to drive and exceed business resultsto think strategically, make quick, sound decisions, and implement proper business actions.Experience emphasizing motivating and developing staff at various career levels and profiles.Retail experience in the local market to successfully develop local clientele; ability to leverage networks by cultivating key industry-related relationships and knowledge of regional marketing and media.of merchandising techniquesin retail store applications such as Beanstore, SalesForce, and SAPto work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
