- *Clinic Overview:**Join our dynamic team at Busy Body Pediatric Therapy , a small but thriving pediatric clinic dedicated to providing comprehensive occupational therapy services to children in our community. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, individualized care, and fostering a supportive environment for both our team members and the families we serve. In addition to our clinic-based services, we also offer early intervention programs in homes and daycares, ensuring that children receive the care they need in familiar environments.
- *Position Summary:**We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis with the ability to grow to a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of all ages and abilities, with a focus on providing evidence-based interventions to promote optimal development and functional independence. This is an hourly (per visit) W-2 position. Our clinic is located in Marietta, near the 75/285. There is also an opportunity to see children 0-3 in homes and dayares as part of Babies Can't Wait.
- *Responsibilities:**- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess children's motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child/family’s unique needs and goals.- Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions in our clinic setting.- The opportunity to deliver early intervention services (Cobb and Douglas County Babies Can’t Wait) in homes and daycares, collaborating closely with families and caregivers.- Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports.**Qualifications:**- Master's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.- Current state license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.- Must have a Medicaid Number already.- Experience working with pediatric populations.- Strong understanding of child development, sensory processing, and developmental disorders.- Commitment to continuing education and staying current with best practices in pediatric occupational therapy.- Pass a background check.
