Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrical Controls Technician at Butler Tool, Inc. located in Butler, WI. The Electrical Controls Technician will be responsible for reviewing and modifying PLC and HMI programs, troubleshooting issues with automation controls and systems, panel assembly and wiring, and other electrical tasks within skillset.
QualificationsAutoCAD schematic and layout creation.Robot programming (preferred, but not required)Experience with hands-on wiring and performance of electrical tests.Experience using multimeters and other electrical tools for testing.PLC & HMI programming (Allen-Bradley platform).UL508A certification (preferred, but not required)Project management experience (preferred, but not required)Ability to program on different platforms, e.g., Siemens, Schneider, Modicon (preferred, but not required)SCADA programming experience, e.g., Ignition, Wonderware, FactoryTalk View SE (preferred, but not required)Onsite equipment commissioning experience.Willingness to travel 10%.Willingness to work overtime when workload is high.Ability to manage time wisely and work on technical aspects of a project under minimal supervision.
