Art Director

The Art Director will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the visual style of BYLT Premium Basics brand. This role will report to the Associate Director, Brand and will manage a team of graphic designers across multiple disciplines and channels. They will be responsible for supporting that team to bring concepts to life and see that they are used in a consistent manner across all channels. They are an expert and nimble designer who has a strong understanding of design principles and can use design to deliver on marketing KPIs. This role will be able to lead how all photo assets and graphics are used so that it continues to push the brand vision to the next level. They will have extensive experience in the fashion apparel industry, leading campaigns for aspirational global brands.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop visual concepts and design elements for digital marketing, print materials, video content, and more.Oversee the production and execution of creative assets, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and brand tone.Responsible for the entire pathway of creative campaigns, providing oversight to Designers to ensure consistency and adherence to creative intent and brand.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm creative ideas for campaigns, advertisements, and promotional materials.Collaborate with the Lifestyle product and marketing leaders on seasonal product stories.Support an overarching visual language to harmonize with our categories and deliver a consistent brand experience to our consumers.Partner with our photography producers to ensure needs are met with photoshoots.Edit and retouch photo assets when needed.Develop logos, typography, and other identity assets that support new products, technologies, programs, and events.Collaborate with Brand Designers to translate key concepts to best-in-class digital assets for social media, website, video stories and direct marketing campaigns.Review and provide feedback on the work of 3 designers to ensure quality and consistency.Lead the team, providing mentorship, professional development opportunities, and ongoing feedback to foster growth and excellence.Perform additional duties as required to support business growth.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS8+ years experience designing in a brand or agency environmentBachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, or a related discipline is preferredExpert level Adobe CS user with experience in 360 campaigns, including TV, digital, and printExpert level Figma knowledgeA diverse portfolio reflecting sophistication in concept development, typography, layout, photo editing, and general artistryProfessional level experience in print production and digital design principles.A finger-on-pulse pursuit of new techniques in software, social media applications, and digital communicationA spirit to learn and collaborate in a team-based environment.PowerPoint/KeynotePhotography, illustration or motion graphics skills a plusExperienced location & studio photo art direction2+ years of team management
