📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Cadenza’s Digital Asset Fund is seeking an experienced and talented Digital Assets Trader to join our team in New York City or San Francisco. In this role, you will be responsible for generating trading ideas and strategies to drive returns for our digital asset investment fund.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement quantitative and qualitative trading strategies across various digital asset markets Conduct in-depth market analysis, research, and modeling to identify trading opportunities Build and optimize algorithmic trading systems and modelsStay up-to-date on market trends, news, and developments impacting digital asset pricesManage risk through proper position sizing, stop losses, and hedging techniquesExecute trades across multiple exchanges and platforms Analyze trade performance and continuously refine strategiesCollaborate with portfolio managers and research analysts
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as a trader in digital assets or traditional asset classes (equities, fixed income, derivatives, etc.) Deep understanding of trading strategies, market dynamics, and risk managementExpertise in quantitative modeling, statistical analysis, and programming skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to think critically under pressure Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilitiesSelf-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindsetKnowledge of blockchain technology, DeFi protocols, and emerging digital asset marketsCoding abilities (Python, C++, etc.) a plus and experience with trading/data platformsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Computer Science or related quantitative field
