📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Global Investment firm (5B AuM) focused on the Private Equity secondary market - leveraging Limited Partner fund transfers, General Partner led transactions and secondary direct transactions - is looking for an elite Investment Associate or experienced Senior Associate to join one of their offices in New York!
Responsibilities:Presentation of fully supported investment summary and underwriting for Investment Committee approval;Sourcing and screening of new investment opportunities for marketed deals via brokerage community; for off-market deals via established and new industry contacts, maintaining personal deal pipe-line;Managing the process of drafting, negotiating, executing, and implementing the investment transactions;Managing the due diligence for target transactions across the different investment strategies;Communicating effectively (both written and oral) with operations, executives, lenders, investors, and partners;Co-own diligence effort and guide financial modeling, while assisting and mentoring Analysts for more complex transactions; Share perspective with Investment Partners on overall fund portfolio construction and investment strategy;
Requirements:2+ years of experience with direct or secondary investments in investment banking, private equity or investment management environment within an Elite team;Excellent financial modeling technical and investment screening skills, valuation skills and working with financial statements, financial analysis, and capital structures;Strong personal network in Private Equity, Private Debt and investment banking industries; Regional responsibility of fundraising and investor relations of several geographical regions;
