📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job Description And Duties

Under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager I , the incumbent will assist organizational change management and business analysis leads in support and coordination of projects. Assist project staff as appropriate, working closely with program management, subject matter experts, and development staff as part of the project team. The incumbent acts primarily as a Business Analyst/ Organizational Change Management (OCM) working with staff during the planning, design, testing, implementation, and maintenance phases. The duties include assessing the impact of changes on the organization and its stakeholders, developing, and implementing change management strategies and plans and assists with internal and external project communications. In addition, the incumbent will gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and clients and translate business needs into functional specifications and test cases.

This position is eligible to participate in DDS’ hybrid telework schedule. Participation in telework is subject to DDS’ guidelines.

Department Information

The California Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is the agency through which the State of California provides services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities.

These disabilities include intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, autism and related conditions. Services are provided through state-operated developmental centers and community facilities, and contracts with 21 nonprofit regional centers. The regional centers serve as a local resource to help find and access the services and supports available to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

The DDS Is Located In a Modern, Sustainable And Innovative Office Building At 1215 “O” Street, Sacramento, California. Some Amenities Of The Building Include:
