Job Description And Duties The Seasonal Clerk performs a wide variety of duties to support the administrative functions within the Regional Office. The Seasonal Clerk performs general offices duties under the supervision of an Office Services Supervisor.

Any offer of employment is contingent on meeting this requirement. Candidates will be required to disclose any activity which could be considered incompatible prior to appointment into the position.
Selected candidate is subject to fingerprinting and criminal record clearance by Department Of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation. Appointment is subject to Personnel approval.
In order to receive priority status for this position, CalWORKs applicants must submit a verification of their CalWORKs eligibility status, which may include the most recent Notice of Action showing TANF eligibility or a copy of your last aid check stub. (Applicants may obtain verification from the CalWORKs program).
This position is subject to fingerprinting clearance by the Department of Justice.

If you are meeting minimum qualifications with education, you must include your unofficial transcripts for verification. If selected, you may be required to provide official transcripts at the time of hire.
Training and Development assignments may be considered based on the availability of eligible candidates and are subject to approval by the Hiring Authority prior to appointment. Training and Development assignments are temporary in nature and shall not exceed twenty-four (24) months.
Candidates who reside outside of the State of California may be admitted to the job interview, but they must provide proof of residence in California prior to being eligible for appointment.

This is a non-testing Classification, therefore, anyone meeting the Minimum Qualifications listed on the Classification Specification may apply for this position.
