📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities

We’re looking for a social media coordinator intern for our personal finance channel @calltoleap
- REQUIREMENTS BEFORE INTERVIEW*
- You must look at our social media pages before we meet (@calltoleap at TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Threads, and X)2. You must read all of the below and be able to perform all the duties.
These are the 4 W’s we’re looking for:
Who1. Organized (takes notes during meetings, organizes calendar)2. Responsible (on time, gets the job done each day)3. Creative (create stories on Canva and copy write)4. Detail oriented (spellcheck, grammar, check cohesive ecosystem with CTA links, websites, stories, reels)5. Has basic financial literacy (What is a HYSA, Roth IRA, 401(k), how to budget, etc)
What1. Edit short videos (CapCut, you will edit Steve’s videos on his iPhone each week)2. Post videos (7 days a week on all platforms, plan and work with sponsorship manager with posting sponsored content)3. Create and post stories (create stories on Canva and post stories with CTAs with high CTRs)4. Engage with followers and content creators (Build community and relationships)5. Customer support (DMs and email)6. Create email campaigns and automations (Kajabi, ManyChat, social media in-app scheduled posting)7. Organize content calendar (upload videos, organize content on the Notion calendar)8. Communicate with team members (Gmail, Slack, WhatsApp)9. Research (Trends and track analytics, A/B testing, 3rd party apps), present numbers on a weekly basis, take lead with new projects/experiments and make decisions on what to do next with the available data10. Administrative duties (Make sure ecosystems are cohesive. Make sure automations (ManyChat, email campaigns) are working. Steve needs an extra set of eyes to do pulse checks on customer voice)
When1. Full-Time (40 hours per week, lunch 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM)2. 1-month internship with a potential to transition to full-time team member once proven that the candidate is trustworthy and responsible.3. General schedule:
Monday: 9AM - 6PMTuesday: 9AM - 6PMWednesday: 9AM - 6PMThursday: 9AM - 5PMFriday: 9AM - 5PMSaturday: 10AM (To post a reel and story)Sunday: 10AM (To post a reel and story)
Where1. Walnut, CA (Home office)2. You will come in 5 days a week for the first month3. If you show you’re a trustworthy, responsible candidate who can perform all the job tasks, you will be transitioned into a hybrid position (1-2 days in-office, 2-4 days at home)

Pay1. $18/hour internship for 1 month2. Starting at $60K a year with future pay raises based on KPIs3. Paid with 1099
Steve's Comments:I'm looking for someone who is independent and doesn't require a lot of babysitting. You will most likely work with just me in-office on days when we meet in person. Once you can prove to me that you can work by yourself, you have more freedom to work at home. Make sure you are still able to get all of the daily tasks complete. I am essentially looking for an intuitive assistant who can handle many of my administrative duties and make executive decisions based on analytics.
We are looking for someone long-term (at least 1-2 years).
