About the Position:Under the direction of the Senior Transportation Engineer and the lead of the Transportation Engineer in Range D, the incumbent performs a wide variety of professional engineering projects in the office and field settings. As the incumbent progresses in experience, the work assigned will be more complex, and this position may function as a lead person over the activities of a team of various engineering and technical personnel and perform other related work. Travel is required. The incumbent is required to have a current driver’s license when operating a State-owned or leased vehicle. Range D requires possession of a valid certificate of registration as a Civil Engineer issued by the California State Board of Professional Engineers, Professional Engineers, Land Surveyor, and Geologists.*See more details on the Duty Statement located on the job posting.
