Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Armed Security Officer located in Jupiter, FL. The Armed Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining security and protecting people and property. Daily tasks may include patrolling assigned areas, monitoring surveillance equipment, controlling access points, responding to emergencies, and documenting incidents. The officer will need to follow company procedures and protocols while maintaining professionalism and providing a safe environment.
QualificationsValid armed security officer license or applicable certificationsPrevious experience in law enforcement, military, or securityKnowledge of security operations, procedures, and practicesExcellent observation and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situationsPhysical fitness and ability to stand or walk for long periodsAvailability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidaysHigh school diploma or equivalentAdditional training or certifications in security or related field is a plus
