Company DescriptionCamp Brightside is a weeklong sleepaway camp located in Rutledge, GA for individuals ages 13-22 with Down Syndrome. Our camp provides a supportive environment where campers can experience traditional camp activities and create lasting memories.
Role DescriptionThis is an on-site role for a Summer Camp Counselor at Camp Brightside. The Summer Camp Counselor will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of their assigned campers and providing support and guidance throughout the camp experience.
Requirements 18+ years oldCommit to staying at camp for the whole week
Added Qualifications (Not required, but a bonus!)Experience and passion for working with people with disabilities and/or Down SyndromeStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team
