We are hiring a Risk Advisory Support Associate to work closely with Compliance and Ethics (C&E) Leaders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to deliver high quality, on-time Risk Management Risk Office services and products. We are looking for individuals who have excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail who can adapt to a changing environment. Strong written & verbal communication skills will also be necessary to succeed in this role. Finally, the role demands a client-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative team environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinating deliverables, process support, and reporting related to audits and regulatory exams/ findings owned by C&E as well as those outside of C&E that have impact to the team; Providing oversight, support, and guidance during risk assessment activities (Process Level Assessments, Risk and Control Self-Assessments, etc.); Ensuring timely advice, effective challenge, and escalation to proactively identify risks, trends, and process improvements; support Risk Reporting team on risk topics to management; Staying current on the changing regulatory environment and understand the risks & impacts to C&E; Participating in risk forums and contributing to continuous improvement of risk management practices; Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders such as Audit, Regulatory Relations, and C&E/ LOB teams; Building and maintaining a strong understanding of C&E people, processes, and technologies, and Support local team and Risk Office duties as needed.
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification At least 1 year of experience in compliance, legal, audit, process/ project management, and/ or risk management related roles
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor Degree or military experience 2+ years of experience in compliance, legal, audit, process management, project management or risk management. 1+ years of experience developing and maintaining strong, credible relationships across the company at various levels 1+ years experience operating in a fast-paced environment handling multiple simultaneous projects and tasks. Strong written and oral communication skills Strong critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills Business Process Management certification or process management experience 1+ years of experience with internal systems of record
