This role is instrumental in maintaining our reputation for excellence and fostering a respectful and collaborative workplace environment.Job Description:As an Investigative Attorney, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organizational culture and ensuring compliance with both internal policies and regulatory standards. Your expertise will be pivotal in independently handling investigations into employment-related issues, making recommendations based on your findings, and contributing to the overall well-being of our workplace environment.Key Responsibilities:Independently manage and conduct thorough investigations into employment issues arising within the workplace, including but not limited to allegations of harassment, discrimination, and other policy violations.Gather and analyze evidence, interview relevant parties, and maintain detailed and confidential records of investigations.Compare investigation findings against company policies and legal requirements to determine substantiated conclusions.Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing investigative processes, findings, and recommendations for action.Collaborate with legal, human resources, and management teams to ensure effective resolution of identified issues.Provide guidance on employment law, compliance issues, and best practices in workplace conduct.Participate in the development and implementation of policies and training programs aimed at promoting a respectful and inclusive work environment.Required Skills & Experience:Minimum 3 years of experience conducting employment-related investigations, preferably within the financial services industry.Juris Doctorate (JD) required, with active membership in good standing of a State Bar Association.Deep understanding of the financial services industry, including investment advisory and broker-dealer operations, products, and services.Exceptional ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities in a very fast-paced environment.Strong capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.Resilience under pressure and ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining professionalism.High level of precision and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Education:Juris Doctorate (JD) required.Membership in good standing of a State Bar Association.
