📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Electric Helper **JACKSONVILLE, FL**3 month contract+ direct hire!Schedule: This is a full-time position. First shift days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.Second shift days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Occasional weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Essential Functions:Set electrical switchgear, panels, controllers, wireways, trays etc.Read and understand electrical drawings and schematicsInstall electrical conduit and wiring on modular chiller systems per plansTerminate low voltage wiringConstruct supports and infrastructure for electrical equipmentOversee and organize electrical tool roomTroubleshoot electrical tools and hand grindersAble to research replacement electrical parts

Required Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GEDExperience pulling wires, bending conduit, etc1+ years of experience in a commercial/manufacturing environmentPrior experience as an Electrical Helper is a plus
Work EnvironmentThis position operates out of a fabrication facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
