📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are representing an industry leading Fortune 1000 organization who is actively seeking a senior level Manufacturing Engineering Manager at their flagship manufacturing plant. Our client has experienced record growth and is looking to begin the interview process ASAP! This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity.
POSITION OVERVIEWCandidate will report to the Plant General Manager while managing (10) salaried direct reportsComplete department financial/budgetary ownershipProvide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals.Work closely with General Manager to determine KPI's and deliverablesDirect and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues.Work closely with plant staff to development "HI-POT " talentProvide key input into the development of the department's strategic business plan and identify and track key measurables to support the department business plan goals.Work cross functionally with other departmentsResponsible for improving process efficiency through best practices, SOP's, and lean manufacturing.
POSITION REQUIREMENTSDegree in Engineering or Technical Field is preferred for considerationCandidate should possess at least 5-10 years of Engineering leadership experience within a high volume manufacturing environmentMaintenance and/or Reliability experience would be considered a plus
