📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are representing a multi-billion dollar industrial manufacturing organization seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for their Las Vegas manufacturing facility. This organization is the industry leader in their respective product line and have a proven track record of success.
Position Overview:Support month-end closes for assigned areas of responsibility.Prepare financial models to support different budget and forecast scenarios.Participate in the financial performance results with budget vs actual variances.Review monthly account reconciliations for specified accounts.Assist with ensuring that an adequate internal control system is in place.Develop recommendations for cost reduction and profit improvement programs.Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided to determine effects on costsProvides management with detailed reports for use in making business decisions and controlling expenditures.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with a preference for advanced degree or certification (i.e. MBA, MSA, CPA, CMA, etc..)-3+ years of strategic financial accounting experience within the manufacturing sector.-Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.Our client offers an outstanding portfolio of insurance and retirement benefits along with other attractive perks.
