Role DescriptionThis is a contract role for a Tableau Expert or Sr. Tableau Developer who has a minimum of 5 years of strong Tableau development experience. As a Tableau Expert, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex interactive dashboards, creating data models, and analyzing complex datasets. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into visualizations and reports. This is an on-site role ( 5 days a week)located in New York, NY.
QualificationsData Modeling, Dashboard, and Analytical SkillsData Warehousing and Extract Transform Load (ETL)Proficiency in Tableau and other data visualization toolsExperience in data analysis, data modeling, and data warehousingStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldTableau certification is a plus
Responsibilties:Automation of manual reporting processes through the development of SQL solutions, data blending/wrangling in Alteryx and Tableau Dashboards.Governance of key risk & performance indicators to support Operations Team, Trade DeskDaily, weekly, and monthly reporting on metrics spanning the operational trade lifecycle including trade volumes, trade edits, matching, settlement, and positions/balances.Creation of comprehensive scorecards aligning key performance indicators by asset class, Prime Broker, Portfolio Manager, Legal Entity, and Trading Strategy.Leveraging key work drivers analytics to support the process of cost allocation from Operations to business units.Firm-wide consolidation of key regulatory reports for domestic and international regulators. Qualifications/Skills Required4-7 years of experience in financial services (preferred)Strong knowledge of Tableau, Microsoft SQL, MS Excel, Alteryx, Python Experience in Operations at either a broker/dealer or asset management firmStrong knowledge of financial instruments; securities and derivatives
