Hours of Operation: Monday-Sunday 8am-7pm

What You’ll Do

Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging; explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation. Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staffPrepare images for reading by RadiologistAssist with Medical Assistant duties to ensure optimal patient flowAttend staff and departmental meetingsComplete training and become certified with the Department of Transportation to perform Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol TestsProposes improvements to processes and workflowsWorks autonomously within established procedures and practices.

About You

Has advanced and specialized expertise, typically developed through job-related training and considerable work experience. May act as a lead, coordinating and facilitating the work of others, but is not a supervisorAssociate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience3+ years in healthcare leadership experienceCurrent CRT certificate Current CPR- BLSLicensure/Certifications: Current registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or have an equivalent Radiologic Technology credentialing agency
