Site Safety Manager
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities

Our client needs an individual for a vertical build project in Iron Mountain, MI that will last 30 to 60 days. Approximately 30 to 60 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a strong possibility of overtime.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the construction site safety, ensuring compliance with NEC, OSHA, and other relevant regulations- Develop and implement safety programs and procedures to maintain a safe work environment- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely completion of projects- Monitor project safety goals- Manage construction safety documentation- Conduct regular site safety inspections to identify potential hazards and address any issues promptly- Collaborate with project stakeholders to resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise- Provide leadership and guidance to site staff, including training and development opportunities- Maintain effective communication with clients, providing regular updates on project safety status
Qualifications
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Card or OSHA 500, OSHA 502, or OSHA 510 training within the last 5 years required.- Proven experience in construction safety management- Familiarity with EHS standards and occupational health practices- Excellent organizational and time management skills- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
