What Transportation Analytics contributes to Cardinal HealthThe Transportation Analyst is responsible for supporting 3pl clients, Warehouse Operations, Customer Operations, New Business Implementations, and the CRM team with all aspects of transportation. The Analyst are responsible for managing the relationship with Transportation Providers. The role supports internal processes including MTK Management, POD Process, Yard management for campus transfers and Retail Routing Guide management. Additionally the analyst must be experienced in carrier selection, transportation rates, and routing. Responsibilities include responding to 3pl clients regarding transportation needs or concerns. Must be able to work with motor carriers to expedite shipments, address delivery and OS&D issues.We are looking for an experienced Transportation Analyst who has a positive, collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. This position reports to Supervisor, Transportation Analyst.Job SummaryThe Transportation Analyst is accountable for the management of all inbound and outbound analysis. This job is responsible for the timely communication of all carrier and transportation updates to the Operations teams. This job provides analytical support for all Transportation management functions to ensure cost control, service levels, information flow, as well as enforce compliance.
