Video Editor

Job Description:The Video Editor position is responsible for taking ideas from our marketing team and videocontent to curate high quality video for social posts, advertisements, and more. In this role, youwill be responsible for bringing sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story.*Portfolio showing experience with past work/projects is required.

This is full-time onsite Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm in Aventura, FL - No remote options

Responsibilities:● Create content that is optimized for social media platforms with current best practices.● Develop promotional content for digital platforms that are conversion driven (paidtraffic).● Cohesively tell a story through NLE (non-linear editing) using video, graphics, music, andsound design.● Meet with internal team members to establish the desired feel and look for the video tobe created.● Operate computer editing systems and equipment used for video content creation.● Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation.● Improve video and sound quality using various video software.● Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other importantaspects of the project.● Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according tospecifications.

Requirements:● 5 years + experience in professional video editing.● Advanced level of knowledge in the Adobe Creative Suite is mandatory, particularlyAdobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.● Color grading knowledge is a plus.● Animation and Motion Graphics experience is extremely helpful.● Ability to work on multiple projects and able to delegate their time accordingly.● Work well under pressure and with tight deadlines in a fluid environment.● Able to work in a fast paced environment.● Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projectssimultaneously.● Excellent communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of projectscope and implementation.● Ability to collaborate well with other creative professionals to supply clients withtop-notch finalized products.● Knowledge of audio postproduction.● Excellent team player.Skills:● Capable of working well with internal and external teams/partners.● Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines in a fast-paced, changingenvironment while maintaining a professional and positive attitude.● Ability to effectively solve problems, think creatively, make decisions and takeaction, exercising independent judgment.● Strong project management, customer service and relationship building skills.● Strong written and verbal communication, able to deliver clear, concise informationtailored to specific and varied audiences.● Excellent time management and organizational ability.● Team player
