Electrical Design Engineer
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have experience in power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm system design for commercial, institutional, healthcare, cultural, and/or residential projects.
Responsibilities: Provide technical and design services for power distribution including low voltage systems and arc flash, lighting, and fire alarm systems.Work on a variety of commercial, institutional, healthcare, cultural, and/or residential projects.Produce electrical design/construction drawings and specifications.Complete design tasks within budget and on schedule, working alongside Project Managers, Senior Engineers, the design team, and other disciplines.Review construction documents, produce cost estimates, and provide construction administration support.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldPE licensure preferred but non-licensed candidates will be considered for other roles4+ years experience in designing power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, fire alarm, and low voltage systems for commercial buildingsFamiliarity with the National Electric Code, Building Codes, and NFPAProficiency in Revit and AutoCADStrong communication and collaboration skills
