Senior Electrical Engineer
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to add to our growing team based out of Salt Lake City. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical design and construction documents for building power, lighting, and other special systems.
Requirements: Create detailed and coordinated construction documents using Revit or AutoCAD software.Perform analysis, design, and documentation of power distribution, lighting systems, and backup power systems.Perform design calculations for electrical loads and panel schedules.Conduct short circuit and arch fault calculations using SKM software.Participate in construction administration duties including submittal and shop drawings reviews, site inspections, and responding to RFIs.Coordinate with other disciplines including architects and mechanical/plumbing engineers.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.PE license highly preferred but non-licensed candidates will be considered.4-8+ years of experience in electrical engineering within the MEP industry. Experience working on commercial, education, multi-family, mixed-use, or mission critical projects a plus.Proficiency using Revit and/or AutoCAD required.Experience with AGI 32, SKM, ETAP, Easypower or Newforma a plus.Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), State Energy Code, NFPA guidelines and FGI guidelines required.
