📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our client, a Financial Services firm in Beverly Hills, is seeking a skilled Portfolio Accountant to join their tight-knit team!
Position Title: Portfolio Accountant Portfolio Lease AccountantSchedule: Onsite in Beverly Hills (open to a hybrid schedule after 3-6 months of training)Salary: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year + discretionary bonus
Primary Duties:Management of transactional cash flow, including processing and recording customer payments, scheduling future payments, and handling vendor disbursements.Oversight of partner payout deadlines to ensure timely execution.Tracking, reporting, and executing originator payments.Handling deal bookings and income entries, including journal entries in accounting software.Conducting cash and bank reconciliations.Compilation and distribution of monthly and quarterly financial reports, including financial statements, trial balance reports, profit, and loss statements, and 1099 reporting.Managing the portfolio, including capital source reporting, interest expense calculations, and data-tape preparation for audits.Reporting on delinquencies and principal/interest breakdowns.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Proficiency in lease accounting standards and administration.Strong skills in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.Attention to detail and proficiency in handling complex financial data.Effective communication and interpersonal capabilities.Capability to work independently or collaboratively within a team setting.Experience:2-3+ years of relevant experience in lease accounting or a related domain.Preferred certification such as CPA.Benefits Offered:Dental, health, and vision insurance coverage.Paid time off.
