Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional imageWork independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operationsProvide a basic level of general nursing care to forensic clients, patients, and inmates with mental, emotional, or developmental disabilitiesProvide care under the clinical direction of a physicianRespond to medical emergencies within the correctional facility, providing immediate care and coordinating with other healthcare and security staffMaintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting assessments, interventions, and communication with inmatesAdvocate for the health and well-being of inmates, ensuring that their healthcare needs are addressed appropriately
JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE RN REGISTERED NURSE
1+ years of recent corrections experience requiredBLS issued through American Heart Association or American Red CrossMust be eligible to work in the United StatesRN license in Alabama or compact license Be committed to going perm at the facility at the end of the contract
