Perform patient assessments prior to electrophysiology proceduresAdminister medications and monitor patient vital signs during proceduresAssist with the insertion and removal of cardiac catheters and other devicesEducate patients and their families about electrophysiology procedures and post-procedure careCollaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide optimal patient careIs responsible and accountable for direct patient care by utilizing the nursing process of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care with a priority on the education of the patient/family/significant other based on the health care needs identifiedBe a model of professionalism and compassion by serving as an ambassador to this organization
JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE RN REGISTERED NURSE
One year experience in electrophysiology (EP) lab OR two years' experience in Emergency or Critical Care areas requiredBLS and ACLS issued through American Heart Association or American Red CrossMust be eligible to work in the United StatesRN license in TX
