As a Cybersecurity Analyst Intern, your primary responsibility will be to support the various functions and tasks performed by the Cybersecurity Risk and Compliance Team. Interns are expected to work closely with the cybersecurity team providing support on the various risk and compliance assessment tasks. In addition, as a Cybersecurity Analyst Intern, your focus should be on continuously developing your technical and professional skills to grow and expand your role on the team.
Essential Functions
Support the cybersecurity team information gathering for the purpose of assessing cybersecurity risk. Assist with the development and review of cybersecurity deliverables.Assist with the development and/or review of cybersecurity policies and standard operating procedures. Support the cybersecurity assessment intake and monitoring process. Assist the cybersecurity team with performing detailed analysis as needed.
Qualifications
Education Level: High School Diploma or GED. This position requires an individual working towards at least a Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University.
Experience: 3 years college experience. Junior or Senior Undergraduate student or Master's student targeting majors in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or above.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (KSAs)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables.Ability to work collaboratively within a team to perform daily work.Must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities, deadlines, and workloads that can be variable for long periods of time. Attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills including assisting with presentations.
Salary Range: $18,720 - $26,000
