Job Description
The Village of Heather Hills is looking for a full-time Cook! If you are looking to transition out of restaurants or are needing a little bit more structure in your schedule, this is the job for you! We are a high-end independent living facility looking to fill out our culinary team. In this position you will be responsible for helping on the line during service and preparing for service as needed. We are looking for someone who is comfortable in all aspects of the kitchen. Some days you will be scheduled to be a prep-cook and dishwasher and some days you will be on the line for dinner service.
Requirements
Highschool Diploma, GED, or equivalent 1+ years as a cook, prep cook, or equivalent Restaurant experience (preferred) Healthcare experience (preferred) Must be willing to learn basic DDSI diet standards. Must be able to work with several different age groups. Must have excellent time management skills.
Hours And Days
11am-7pm, weekends required, weekdays flexible.
Flexible schedule, weekdays, weekends.
Our dining services are open from 6am-7pm, 365 days a year, some holidays will be required.
