The Data Analyst works closely with CARFAX for Police to inform product, business development and data acquisition strategy and goal achievement, the purpose of which is to help law enforcement solve crimes faster and keep communities safer with a suite of products that both acquire and leverage unique vehicle history data.
At CARFAX, we believe in the power of teamwork and value in-person interactions so that we can collaborate and thrive together. This position will require 3 days in the office subject to change with future business needs.
As a Data Analyst You Will
Analyze market and data trends to drive business decisionsCreate a comprehensive reporting function to support business strategy and goalsPartner with the CARFAX for Police marketing team to identify new tools and products for customersProvide support to the sales function through budgetary and commission analyticsDocument end to end data flow, identify efficiencies and opportunities for improvementCreate and maintain long-range business projections that drive acquisition strategy
What We're Looking For
3-7 years of fulltime work experience in a data analytics roleBS in Business or related fieldAdvanced Excel skills requiredRobust analytical skills: ability to use and analyze information to glean insights and shape business strategyStrong communication skills to articulate complex data analysisExcellent problem solving skills Ability to work across teams to bring data quality and product enhancements to lifeBalance the analytics of a project while maintaining command of the larger strategic goalsManage multiple internal stakeholders and partner with other business units
