The CARFAX product management team is looking for an exceptional product professional who is passionate about delivering world class products. You will be working with product managers focusing on enhancing CARFAX’s core product – the CARFAX Vehicle History Report.
The Product Data Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert to help CARFAX provide insight and identify abnormalities within the vehicle history accident and service data, as well as mine the data for additional details. This product analyst will also aid in leading product improvements projects.
At CARFAX, we believe in the power of teamwork and value in-person interactions so that we can collaborate and thrive together. This position will require 3 days in the office per week, subject to change with future business needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
Utilize industry knowledge and relationships to help CARFAX strengthen our product leadershipResearch and understand latest trends within the repair industry to identify opportunities for product improvementBe the CARFAX accident and service subject matter expertWork with service mapping teams to educate and ensure consistency across productsWork with stakeholders to lead a cross functional team to define and implement product improvementsWork with internal & external customers to ensure maximum value data is receivedProvide insight into data analysis to yield higher quality productsMine existing data for additional detailsHelp define business requirements, consult on display, and aid in customer inquiries
What We’re Looking For
Product owner or business analyst experienceExperience leading cross team initiativesExceptional problem solving and analytical skills; willingness to get into the details and drive clarity from ambiguityThe ability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and focusExperience in interpreting, and explaining estimate/repair order dataExperience in eliciting requirements and identifying process improvementsHighly collaborative with excellent communication skillsProven ability to push forward on multiple projects simultaneously Ability to work independently within defined metrics and game planStrong organizational and project management skillsMarketing experience – understanding of customers’ needs/wantsExperience working with Agile software development teamsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsBA/BS preferred
