Principal Accountabilities
Food Safety and Quality Systems Management Verification and/or maintenance of HACCP, SSOP, and prerequisite programs, raw materials, manufacturing processes, plant environment, and finished productCollaborate with Operations on the initiation of corrective action and preventative measures when necessaryEnsures adherence to Corporate, Regulatory and facility food safety and quality requirementsCustomer food safety and quality requirementsParticipation and preparation for plant tours and auditsLead foreign material investigationsEffectively place product or materials on hold via Cargillβs electronic inventory systemAbility to operate and trouble shoot all lab equiplmentAbililty to enter work requests via SAPAbility to place lab supply ordersAbility to schedule and organize product samples, environmental sponges and sanitation effectiveness swabs per the company policy
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the united states without visa sponsorshipMust be 18 years or olderCollege degree or 2 years of relevant work experience6 months FSQR experience Strong computer skills (MS Word, PPT, Excel, document composition/editingEffectively Train and coach stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Biology or other related field5 + Years of related experienceExperience in a food manufacturing environmentGeneral knowledge of HACCPDemonstrated ability to effectively manage conflictEffective verbal and written communication skills
