About Us:Cargo Sales International (CSI), established in 2002, is a niche transportation logistics company located in South Florida with offices in both Miami and Miramar. We specialize in arranging both domestic and international air transportation logistics for funeral homes located throughout the United States.
Job Description: As a Logistics Coordinator at Cargo Sales International, you’ll work with both funeral homes and airlines to oversee the intricate details of transporting deceased individuals both domestically and internationally. This role involves coordinating air transportation logistics, including arranging for airline reservations, coordinating itineraries with funeral homes, ensuring all required documentation is completed and inputting shipments into our internal systems. This position will also be responsible for the tracking of all daily shipments. With empathy and attention to detail, you'll play a crucial role in facilitating smooth and respectful transportation for families during their difficult times. During the first few months, the Logistics Coordinator will receive training from current team members at our Miramar Office and learn the day-to-day requirements for both domestic and international air shipments. After approximately 6-9 months, when the candidate is fully immersed and comfortable in their role and able to confidently handle the job responsibilities, they will be required to work 2-3 weekends per month. This position is ONSITE in either our Miami or Miramar Offices. Job Responsibilities:· Arrange transportation logistics with our funeral home and airline partners.· Daily cargo tracking for funeral home clients.· Problem solve issues with clients/shipments/airlines
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:· Basic computer skills. Entry level experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint is helpful.· Excellent phone & customer relations skills. MUST be comfortable talking on the phone with all business partners and clients.· Strong organizational & time management skills· Must be able to multi-task and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities: · Previous knowledge/experience of air export logistics, and/or working for or with airline cargo would be an added bonus.· Preferred bilingual (English and Spanish) but MUST be fluent in English (writing and speaking).Tips: Provide a summary of the role, what success in the position looks like, and how this role fits into the organization overall.
Benefits:· Base Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 annually· Bonus: Additional quarterly bonus is paid based on achievement of the company’s annual revenue target. · Total Annual Compensation (First Year) estimated to be $60,000-$70,000 if revenue targets are achieved.· Medical/Dental/Vision benefits (after 3 months)· 401k plan (after 6 months)
