Essential Functions
Obtain an understanding of the client’s business and industry as well as a working knowledge of the client’s system cycles and account balances that are within the scope of specifically assigned tasksObtain an understanding of the work to be performed and the purpose of the workPerform substantive and analytical auditing procedures in assigned areasPrepare working papers which adequately document the tests performed and procedures followed to substantiate conclusions reachedBe alert to the proper and consistent application of accounting principles in performing audit proceduresAssist in the preparation of financial statement and footnotesIdentify and document control deficiencies or other matters that warrant the attention of management
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and completed all requirements to be eligible for the CPA examExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong organizational and analytical abilitiesAbility to work well in a team environment
