Cassopolis Family Clinic Network (CFCN) is an independent, Federally Qualified Health Center providing primary care, obstetrics and gynecology, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and healthcare enrollment assistance services for the communities of Cass and southeast Berrien Counties, Michigan. A patient-centered medical home, CFCN provides services for people who are uninsured, underinsured, covered by Michigan Medicaid and Medicare, along with most commercial insurances. CFCN began serving the community in 1964 with the mission to provide compassionate healthcare. Today, CFCN cares for nearly 13,000 patients annually between 5 locations in Cassopolis and Niles.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Billing Manager located in Cassopolis, MI. The Medical Billing Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the medical billing operations of the clinic. Daily tasks include supervising the billing team, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims, resolving billing issues, and optimizing revenue cycle management. The Medical Billing Manager will collaborate with other departments to streamline billing processes and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in medical billing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial roleKnowledge of medical billing systems, coding, and reimbursement proceduresProficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systemsStrong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirementsExcellent organizational and leadership skillsAttention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressureEffective communication skills to interact with staff, patients, and insurance companiesAbility to analyze data and generate reports to monitor billing performanceCertification in medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle management is a plus
