In addition, the service advisor is expected to become proficient in creating custom financial plans, developing asset allocation analyses, providing recommendations for rebalancing portfolios, advising on insurance and investment proposals, and overseeing special projects (such as: tax planning, insurance policy strategy, charitable giving, & pension analysis). The service advisor must be comfortable working directly with clients (to answer routine questions and service requests) and work well in a team environment.
