📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
CB Partners is teaming up with one of our best clients to help fill their open Staff Accountant opportunity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team. In this direct hire opportunity you can earn between $60,000 and $80,000 per year depending on experience.
Responsibilities:Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAPOversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processesMaintain integrity of the general ledger through reconciliations and journal entriesAssist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisSupport month-end and year-end close processesAssist in tax compliance and provide audit supportIdentify and implement process improvementsParticipate in special projects and initiatives
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting0 - 4 years' experience in accountingStrong understanding of GAAP and financial accounting principlesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel
