Coordinating Streaming Producer, 247Sports

Overview & Responsibilities

The Coordinating Producer will work with the VP of Content to create a channel devoted to college football and college basketball. They are responsible for program development, creative and editorial direction, programming block hours, and working with editorial management for the content vision of 247Sports. Oversee day-to-day editorial for program hours and coordinate content integration across platforms. Train producers on how to construct rundowns, create intriguing content, and time out live shows. Coach on-air talent, providing feedback on the art of interviewing and how to navigate hosting duties. Schedule assignments and shifts for on-air and production staff. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in video production, media arts, communications, broadcasting, sports management, or combination of education/training with relevant experience equivalent10+ yrs experience at a senior level, including managing others, running control room, stacking a rundown, juggling live breaking news, and strong TV writing skillsAt least 8 years of Line Producing experienceIn-depth knowledge of college football and college basketball, including recruiting, transfer portal, and NILWillingness and ability to work flexible hours, under tight deadline pressure, including breaking news. The schedules will rotate, but must be able to work all shifts, including weekends and overnightsAbility to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift with little or no notice if needed. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environmentExceptional editorial skillsAbility to develop story ideas, research, and plan segmentsUnderstanding of SEO
