Accounting Manager

Celero Commerce is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our Accounting team in our Dallas, TX office or our Brentwood, TN office location! The Accounting Manager holds a critical leadership role within the Accounting Department, responsible for overseeing and optimizing various accounting functions to ensure accurate financial reporting, process efficiency, and a customer-service mindset. The Accounting Manager plays an essential role in driving team performance, implementing efficient processes, and leveraging technology to enhance the overall efficiency of the accounting operations. Responsibilities:Optimize the month-end close cycle, Accounts Payable, and billing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.Ensure adherence to close deadlines and deliver accurate financial reports within established timelines.Solidify and formalize team structure, including cross-training initiatives to ensure seamless operations.Lead the accounting team by modeling a customer-service mindset, providing professional and courteous assistance to internal and external stakeholders.Develop and implement processes, procedures, and communications that enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the accounting team and the broader organization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in financial processes.Leverage technology solutions to automate and optimize routine accounting tasks and checklists, reflecting the company's focus on innovation.Provide ongoing training and development for team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.Collaborate with senior leadership to support strategic financial decision-making and planning.

Experience & Requirements:5 - 8+ years previous professional experience in a similar roleMinimum 3+ years in a supervisory role Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Proven experience in accounting leadership roles, including managing teams and optimizing processes.Strong understanding of accounting principles and reporting standards.CPA or equivalent professional accounting certification.Exceptional organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Strong ability to create and refine processes, procedures, and communications.Proficiency in leveraging technology to enhance accounting operations.Perform job functions in the best interest of Celero’s financial operations Able to navigate ambiguity, while exploring innovative solutions and driving business impact
