Freelance Medical Animator (Remote)

Location: Remote, EST or CST hours preferred

Compensation: $75 per hour

Cella has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Animator at a best-in-class in-house agency at a major pharma company. This full-service agency produces digital, video, augmented/virtual reality, and print assets and is consistently rated better than both similar in-house agencies and external competitors—overall and with respect to innovation, execution, and client support.

The Medical Animator must have prior pharmaceutical marketing or agency experience, preferably in the human health, animal health, consumer or medical/scientific communications space. For this remote position, you will work closely with key organizational stakeholders and the creative services team in the Medical Communications group.

This position is 100% remote, EST or CST preferred. This is a freelance/bench opportunity with fluctuating hours.

Responsibilities

A medical animator creates visual representations of complex medical and biological concepts through animation. Their work involves combining artistic skills with scientific knowledge to produce accurate and engaging animations used in various fields such as healthcare, research, education, and pharmaceuticals.Using 3D software (such as Cinema 4d, Maya, OsiriX or Zbrush) to do the above.Creating storyboards.Creating high-resolution 3d stills. Video editing (Adobe After Effects). Video compositing (voice over, music, sound effects, etc). Soft skills (client interaction through both meetings and email). Research on various scientific topics. Work within a team to create a product. Working with managers, medical writers, editors, etc.

Qualifications

Master of Science in Medical Illustration from an accredited program preferred.5 -10 years of field experience in medical animators and illustrations.A strong foundation in biological and medical science.
