Product Development Designer (Hybrid)
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Location: Framingham, Massachusetts
Job Type: Contract
Compensation Range: $29 - 35 per hour
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Product Development Designer to join our client's dynamic Product Development team and play a key role in shaping the future of their product portfolio.
In this role, you will design and develop soft home artwork for both adult and kids products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, designers, and marketing professionals, to take product concepts from ideation to market launch. You will be responsible for driving the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring that products meet customer needs, quality standards, and market trends.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and execute artwork for specified product programs using Photoshop and Illustrator.Work with the Product Development team from the concept meeting through the artwork execution and prototype process.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Illustrator a must.Passionate about home product color and trend.Degree in Design or equivalent work experience.3+ years in Product Development with relevant product categories.Effective communication skills.Ability to communicate and interpret conceptual design ideas.Ability to handle multiple projects with flexibility and ease.Experience in Product Development a plus.Strong organization and follow-through skills.Works well in a team environment.Strong interpersonal skills.Knowledge of competitive products and brands.Selects color palettes; requires knowledge of current color and trend information.
