Job Summary And Qualifications

The Imaging Assistant is responsible for customer service and image distribution for Outpatient Radiology. This includes copying, mailing and delivery of images in a timely and organized manner. Our team is passionate about ensuring an exceptional patient experience and committed to caring like family.

What you will do in this role

You will greet patients and process the required admission documents to include order entry. You will respond to patients, physicians and others by telephone and face-to-face to process requests for images and reports. You will handle subpoenas for images and reports. You will act as a liaison for staff, outside agencies, vendors, physicians, corporate / division staff and other departments within the facility.

What Qualifications you will need

Currently enrolled in good standing in an accredited Radiologic Technology Program. Has successfully completed the 1st year of the program, and its associated exam competencies. Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Minimum of one year related experience in clinical radiology school setting.
