Job Description:The Director of Imaging Services and Radiology is responsible for the direction and oversight of Imaging and Radiology Services and all department operations at Lynchburg General Hospital (LGH), Virginia Baptist Hospital (VBH), and Gretna Medical Center (GMC), to include management of all assigned personnel and oversight of all workflow of the departments. Ensures that departments meet the requirements of all State, Federal, and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols; as well as accreditation standards from accrediting bodies. First line management representative to and liaison for radiology physicians, as well as other medical staff members for matters pertaining to Imaging and Radiology operations.
- There will be leadership responsibility for 15 Imaging departments across 3 locations, with oversight of approximately 126 FTE’s.
Requirements:· Required Education: Bachelors Degree, preferably in a STEM field· Preferred Education: Masters Degree· Required Experience: Three (3) years of leadership experience. Clinical / business analysis experience· Preferred Experience: Three (3) years of relevant leadership in a clinical field
