Data and Analytics Manager- Must have Tableau and Financial Services

Job Description:This individual will drive defining how to provide transparency and visibility to key data and analysis supporting the Value Management Office and delivery teams. They will play a key role in helping define the metrics and measurement of overall delivery effectiveness and end to end flow of work. They will manage a team tasked with defining data capture requirements, analyzing patterns and trends, synthesizing information into dashboards or presentations that covey insights and recommendations through storytelling, while maintaining a balance between the big picture and mastery of details.The Team:The Value Management Office (VMO) is responsible for helping drive a value-focused transformation across Huntington. The VMO includes the following functions:Working in direct partnership with our Finance and Strategy team to mature to an outcome driven organizationDriving the adoption of agile practices and standardsSupporting continuous prioritization of initiative in partnership with business partnersSupporting value tracking, IT execution alignment, and delivery flowDriving the continued evolution of our operational processes, training, coaching and communicationsProviding visibility through the development of reporting and analysisJob Responsibilities:Work with stakeholders to ensure that needs are clearly understood and that services meet those needsPlan and ensure the execution of work, and achievement of team goals Anticipate and analyze trends in technology while assessing the emerging technology’s impact(s) Coach and mentor team members through change and serve as a role model Actively participate in cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with team members to achieve and measure successGrasp technical concepts and make them easily understandable through various communication mediums like visualizations and presentationsCreate compelling, intuitive dashboards to enable colleagues with critical metrics, with a focus on data automation, anomaly detection, and actionable data visualizationsApply visualization techniques to data sources to make accurate and actionable analyses in a timely fashionBe a partner in the building of KPIs and metrics that help to gauge the health and success of our initiativesCreate self-service dashboards for internal business partners to learn, understand, have access to, and derive insights from data, metrics, and KPIsApply automation techniques to manual processes to create efficiency, improve accuracy, and build upon successes that create a suite of self-service assetsBasic Qualifications:10+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, or similar skillset, experience working with analytics, and technical leadership and management experience on data-centric products Hands-on manager with a proven track record of leading and growing successful data teams Experience with TableauFinancial Services background Agile experience
