Logistics Specialist

Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule of:9:30pm-7:30am

Salary ranges from:$50,000-$70,000 annual

Ideal Candidate Requirements:Must have strong leadership skills including the ability to coach, counsel, train, and mentor employees.Desire to surround customer with excellence in service.High aptitude for technology.The ability to multi-task while being detail oriented.Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills.Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high pressure environment with multiple priorities.An associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Duties include, but are not limited to:Dispatch for a team of 70 to 80 over the road company drivers.Inform internal team members of driver statuses.Analyze driver metrics to create efficiency reports.Handle driver & load swaps and ensuring drivers arrive to the destination in timely manner.Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards.Provide/support a culture of excellence in quality of product to internal and external customers.
