Job Title: Senior Mobile Automation EngineerDuration: Full TimeLocation: Charlotte, NCJob Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Automation Engineer with 9-14 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile automation testing, specifically using Appium, and a proven track record of working with Emulators, Simulators, Real, and Cloud Mobile Devices. As a Senior Mobile Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile applications across various platforms.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium.Implement and maintain automation frameworks to support mobile testing efforts.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.Conduct feasibility analysis and assess automation potential for new features and enhancements.Perform regression testing, sanity testing, and smoke testing on mobile applications.Identify, report, and track defects to resolution using appropriate defect tracking tools.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality.Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in mobile automation testing.Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance as needed.Continuously strive to improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.9-14 years of experience in mobile automation testing.Extensive hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation.Proficiency in testing on Emulators, Simulators, Real, and Cloud Mobile Devices.Strong understanding of mobile application development and testing methodologies.Solid programming skills in languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, or Python.Experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks for mobile testing.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.Certifications in mobile automation testing (e.g., Appium Certification).Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.Knowledge of other mobile automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, XCTest, Espresso).Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
